We understand that our blog has a regular reader in Nate and Max's grandmother, Ginny, in Fort Wayne. Ginny, this shot of your two daughters and the great time they were having with their families in San Martin Tilcajete, an alebrije carving village, is for you. Nate is the older of the two brothers in this photo; he and Crispin are the two Americans in their class and because Nate has been getting Spanish tutoring for several years now, he is able to help Crispin with translation when things get fuzzy. Thanks Nate!
Max is Nate's younger brother and an energetic first grader also at Colegio Teizcali. He can usually be spotted chasing Harper or Crispin in the courtyard. He is remarkably effective at convincing people to give him free sweets and treats, and when you look at his smiling face you can see why.
